Art Club and National Art Honor Society

Description:The art club gives students an opportunity to develop their creative abilities while serving their school and community. Students learn new art techniques, visit local nursing homes to lead art activities, and participate in field trips. In the classroom, students do clay artworks and painting projects, along with creating art for competitions.

Eligibility Requirements:Art Club is open to all students grades 9-12. The dues are $10 per year. National Art Honor Society is open to grades 10-12.  National Art Honor Society is open to students grades 10-12.  Dues are $20 per year. 

  Time Frame:Throughout the school year.

Meeting Frequency: Thursdays from 3:40pm to 5:00pm

Benefits: National Art Honor Society members can earn honor cords to wear at graduation (minimum of 30 service hours); students also participate in art related field trips.
