Douglas County High School runs on a block schedule consisting of 4 classes a day.  Classes do not run the entire year.  At the end of the semester, students will get four new classes. This is the typical bell schedule at DCHS.  Each class last about an hour and a half and there are eight minutes in between classes.  Lunch is served during 3rd period.  There are 5 lunch periods to accommodate our large population.

1st Period:     8:35 to 10:05

2nd Period:    10:12 to 11:39

3rd Period:     11:46 to 2:01

4th Period:     2:08 to 3:35
