Greetings! My name is Shannon N. Jones and I am a native of North Carolina, however, I resided in several states because my Father served in the United States Marine Corps for 20 years. My primary and secondary school years were spent in California and Colorado.  I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Professional Theatre with a concentration in Acting from North Carolina A&T State University. I also hold a Master Degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in English from the University of Phoenix. I am a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.

Currently, I serve as the Junior Varsity Cheerleading Coach and I am extremely honored to be a Douglas County "TIGER".  Last but not least, I am very passionate about teaching and enjoy making learning a personal experience.
