“Mathematics may not teach us how to add happiness or subtract sadness, but it gives us every reason to hope that every problem has a solution.” – Author Unknown

My heart has found the east coast, but was born on the west coast. I am certain that I will find my new home at Douglas County High School to be everything and more just as I found Douglasville to be. I recently got engaged. No kids. But they say some dogs take after their owner, my dog, Zeus, is strong-willed, playful and all energy. I love to read, watch movies, scrapbook and travel.  I am most excited to wear blue (my favorite color) and gold and share my hope of finding solutions to problems with my students this school year.
