A.D.A.P. Instructor ( Alcohol and Drug Awareness Program) Taught during Health/Personal Fitness. It is required for obtaining a Class D driver's license.

 



Experience

2017-18 marks my 45th  year teaching and coaching at DCHS.

I coach XC, Girls' Basketball,& Track/Field.

I am also the former Department Chair for the P.E. Department.

I bleed Blue & Gold!!!!

 

 



Bio

         Chet Forsh, better known as Coach (Forsh) graduated from Cherokee High School. During his high school career he participated in basketball, baseball, and track & field. After Graduating from Cherokee he received a scholarship to Berry College, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health & Physical Education with a concentration in Psychology. 

         Coach's career began at Douglas County HS in the early 1970's( August 1973). He promptly started work on a Master's at Georgia State( 1978) & also completed his Specialist's Degree(1987). Coach is married to Frankie and has 2 daughters. Both their children are proud graduates of DCHS (as well as college graduates). Additionally, he is the proud granddad to 2 beautiful grandbabies.
