Mr. Tillman is originally from Los Angeles, California. He attended John Muir High School in Pasadena, which is only a few clicks away from the Rose Bowl (football home of the UCLA Bruins). Later, the family moved to Woodstock, Ga., at which time Mr. Tillman then attended Etowah High School. Following the completion of his studies in high school, Mr. Tillman enlisted in the United States Army and immediately took a duty station overseas in S.Korea, helping to ensure that the DMZ separating N. Korea from S. Korea remained stable. While working in Korea, Mr. Tillman was able to take courses at the University of Maryland through instructors that traveled to the korean peninsula to educate soldiers stationed abroad. Following the completion of his military service, Mr. Tillman went back to school to finish his undergraduate degree in psychology (Kennesaw State University). Upon successful completion of his undergraduate degree, Mr. Tillman took a job as a youth counselor as he simultaneously worked on his Masters degree. Mr. Tillman completed his Master's program in March 2007, and is now in his seventh year of teaching here at Douglas County High School.  Currently, Mr. Tillman is in his 3rd year at Nova Southeastern University where he is completing his doctoral degree.

 Mr. Tillman also heads the First Priority (Christian organization) here at Douglas County High.  Anyone looking for more information about the Christian life or Christian ideals is welcome to attend. 

Lastly, Mr. Tillman is the father of 8 wonderful and children: Caleb, Asher, Lance, Brylle, Bryce and Taylor, Faith, and Genesis.
