Greetings!  My name is Kyra Beris. I began my college career at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH). My major was Pre-Medicine. Later, I transferred to Oakwood University in which I completed my degree. In 1999, I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Biology. In January 2007, I earned my Master’s degree in Secondary Education from the University of Phoenix and in May 2017, I earned by Ed.S in Leadership from Columbus State University.

I decided to become an educator in 2001. I found that being in the classroom was the perfect career for me because I fell in love with teacher/student relationships, educating youth, and all that the career has to offer. Teenagers are fascinating individuals and I love knowing that I have reached them. I enjoy educating them because I have numerous experiences to bring to the classroom.
