I have an undergraduate degree in French from Auburn University, a Masters in Foreign Language Education from University of Alabama and a Masters in Learning Disabilities from Georgia State.

I have taught for 40 years - U.S. History, English, German, World History, but mainly French.  I have been a Special Education Division Head, Foreign Language Division Head, was Curriculum Coordinator for Foreign Language for 8 years in Cobb County and IB Coordinator who started Cobb's IB Program.  This is my 16th year in Douglas County.  I teach Preparatory IB French at Douglas County High School and I am Curriculum Director for Foreign Language, Gifted, ESOL, Fine Arts and International Baccalaureate.

I was teacher of the year at Wills High School 3 times and Campbell once and once High School teacher of the year for Cobb County Schools.  I have been Star Teacher three times.  The last of which was 2003 at Douglas County High School.  In 2004, I was chosen Foreign Language Educator for the state of Georgia and received Palmes Academiques from the French Consul General.
