I received my Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Tuskegee University in 1999. I worked on breast cancer research at Iowa State University from 1999 to 2005. I obtained graduate training in biochemistry/biophysics at Iowa State University for approximately five years. In 2010, I earned my M.A. in secondary education (University of Phoenix).


This is my 12th year at Douglas County High School.

Classes taught: AP Chemistry, Chemistry, Physics, Physical Science, Honor's Physical Science, Earth Systems and Environmental Science.

Currently teaching: AP Chemistry, Chemistry and Physical Science


I am a graduate of Douglas County High School (1995). I returned to Douglasville in 2005, to teach in the science department. I believe that all children can learn. I enjoy working with children of all ages. I am a proud wife and mother of a six year boy and a two year old girl. I am also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. I enjoy community service and promoting education.
